Georgian War v1.0.0.9
After 3 months of learning C# , .NET Framework and XNA and a longer history of C/C++ programming ,this project came out of my keyboard.
This game was started on 13 December 2010 and was brought to this state on 20 December(Yesterday).Inspired by the 2008 Invasion of Georgia by Russian troops the game puts you in command of a Sukhoi 47 jet fighter, the 2D graphics are pretty simple, they are either drawn in photoshop or they are images from Google.
Background is a print screen of Google Earth satellite view from a field near Tbilisi(Georgia)... it's one image that is rolling again and again just like a Flintstones cartoon. (>_<)
Sounds are recorded from YouTube, I hope it's a nice feature.
Life of your jet fighter is shown by how much of it, is painted red in the top right corner ( the place where the SU47 gets hit gets red).
Anyway, the game works and feels very good, it's cheap on resources and is pretty well balanced...it includes bonuses, 2 types of weapons + one weapon boost...
For a fast-forward game play demonstration:(quality kind of low)
